Project 304

Started as an altertive space based in Bangkok, Project 304 is initiated and run by artists and curators since late 1996. It is now defunct and transformed itself to a non- site -project based art organization. Its goals are to use art as a means to bring greater awareness and appreciation of the contemporary arts to society at large. Project 304 provides and facilitates a forum for emerging local artists, as well as for well-established national and international ones. Artists will be able to develop and hone their skill, exchange information, execute collaborative projects in an interdisciplinary setting. While not shy away from aesthetics, exhibition will be concept-oriented, focusing on social, cultural and political issues. Project 304 looks forward to collaborating with anyone interested in using art as a means of reshaping our society. We invite artists and those who care for contemporary art to join us in this important process.
